Ray of Light

The morning was moist.  Rain had fallen and the early morning air created a lingering mist.  The light hit just right to create these rays of light coming through the branches.  It lasted only minutes, just long enough to take a few shots with my iphone and enjoy the moment while my bare feet froze.  That was before the heavy frost of the past couple of weeks.  The ficus trees have turned brown now and are loosing their leaves. So for now, I choose to admire the  green of a few weeks ago, preserved in this photo.
