Summer Break

As you can tell, I’ve neglected this blog for awhile.  I keep telling myself its because I don’t have the time but here I am, on a summer morning, packing up one house, renovating another with only 10 days left until moving day.  This is when I find time?  Ok, maybe it is more like a procrastination device but hey, I’ll take advantage.

I’ve been trying to keep up with social media, admittedly not my favorite thing, but I’m finding new communities and so many talented photographers that I am in awe.  People who find time to make images between working their real jobs, on subways, in their offices and at home.  For some reason I can’t seem to grasp the concept that I can capture a moment anytime, even in my mess.  So here is my vow to you, dear BLOG: I will pay more attention to you.  I will be more aware of my surroundings no matter how boring or uninteresting they may seem. Lets face it, there is always something picture worthy, something unique or colorful or backlit that is crying out for a little attention.  It’s about time you felt the love, don’t you think?
